The arrival of Cunard’s latest cruise ship, Queen Anne, has been pushed back a few days with the liner now expected to arrive in Southampton on Tuesday (30th April). Last minute finessing to the luxury liner has seen the schedule adjusted slightly, putting Queen Anne’s inaugural trip up the Solent back 3 days, from Saturday to Tuesday. However, her maiden voyage is still planned to begin next Friday (3rd May). The first passengers on board will be enjoying a 7-night cruise to La Coruna and Lisbon. Queen Anne is due to berth at the Mayflower Terminal at 15:00 on Tuesday afternoon, which means Islanders will see the 113,000-ton, 3,000-guest ship coming up the Solent, past Seaview, Ryde and East Cowes, from around 13:30. Crowds are expected to gather along the shore to welcome the Cunard liner to her home port for the very first time. Solent Cruises has organised a sightseeing trip which has been moved to 12:30 on Tuesday. Customers who have already booked should have received an email with further information. Queen Anne is Cunard’s first cruise ship in almost 15 years. She departed the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Venice, Italy on 24th April and is currently motoring through the Mediterranean.

Bit of a crap cruise for her maiden voyage
I wouldn’t say no.
First Cunard cruise ship in 15 years? Er, how about Iona built in 2020!
Iona is a P&0 cruise ship.
P&O and Cunard are all part of the same group.
P&O !!!!!!!!!
Erm, Iona is P&O, not Cunard..
That’s a very big gondola.
She looks like a fantastic ship, will definately try to see her sailing past. Hope she gets a Royal reception in Southampton.
Pushed back? Engine buggered already then?
Don’t disrespect her before she’s started!
Yes, another cock up…..
Lots of us who are loyal cruise passengers booked events to coincide with the flotilla arrival, only to be disappointed at the lastminute.com!! Booo to Cunard
Pushed back again to 17,30
