Businesses, entrepreneurs, and aspiring professionals from across the Isle of Wight are being invited to attend the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce’s flagship Expo 2026, taking place at Ryde School next week.
Free to attend for all with no need for pre-registration, the Expo is held on 7th July, and is the Island’s biggest business gathering, bringing together exhibitors, expert speakers, and hundreds of visitors for a day of connections, ideas, and opportunities.
Supported by WightFibre, the event is designed to help businesses grow, whether by making new contacts, discovering new products and services, or hearing practical advice from industry experts.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet businesses from a wide range of sectors, from professional services and technology to hospitality, manufacturing, and the creative industries.
With dozens of exhibitors under one roof, Expo offers a unique opportunity to discover what the Island business community has to offer and start conversations that could lead to future partnerships and opportunities.
This year’s event will also feature a packed programme of speakers in the School’s theatre with Hamish Nicklin, CEO and Co-Founder of AgentFlow, who will explore the opportunities presented by AI and digital transformation.
Charlie Merritt from the Diplomatic Advisory Hub, a partnership between the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the British Chambers of Commerce will offer insights into the international landscape and what it means for UK businesses.
Ekiñe Fernandez-Lane, who is helping to strengthen links between education and industry and inspire the next generation of talent, will also take to the stage.
Rob Johnson, Chief Executive of the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, said:
“Expo is all about bringing people together. Every year, we see businesses making valuable new connections, discovering new ideas, and opening doors to opportunities that simply wouldn’t happen otherwise.
“Whether you’re an established company, a start-up, a sole trader, or someone thinking about taking the next step in their career, Expo is a fantastic opportunity to meet people, learn something new, and experience the strength and diversity of the Island’s business community.
“Thanks to the support of WightFibre, we’re able to make the event free to attend and accessible to everyone. We would encourage businesses and members of the public alike to come along and see what makes our business community so special.”
John Irvine, Chief Executive Officer of WightFibre, said:
“WightFibre is delighted once again to support the Isle of Wight Chamber B2B Expo, an event that brings our Island’s business community together with the same spirit of connection that drives our full-fibre network. Investing in our local community is at the heart of what we do, and we’re delighted to help create opportunities for businesses across the Island to grow, collaborate, and thrive.”
As well as networking and speaker sessions, visitors can enjoy refreshments and informal conversations throughout the day, making Expo 2026 an ideal opportunity to reconnect with existing contacts and make new ones.
