A free music festival will return to Ryde seafront this Bank Holiday weekend, with 2 days of live entertainment coinciding with the International Scooter Rally.
Ticket to Ryde will take over Eastern Gardens on Saturday 29th August and Sunday 30th August, bringing Island bands, DJs and solo performers to the Esplanade.
Now in its 12th year, the free event is organised by Jack Up Events in partnership with Ryde Town Council and will also feature local food, drink and independent traders.
This weekend’s event is the final Ticket to Ryde of 2026 and once again coincides with the annual International Scooter Rally.
A large selection of 1960s music will form part of the weekend’s entertainment, while Scooted & Booted Sound System – specialists in reggae, ska and 2 Tone – will perform on both days and either side of the scooter ride out.
BBC Radio Solent will also broadcast live from the event between 10:00-14:00 on Saturday.
Saturday’s line-up features Steve Love’s Island Songs, Pistol Knights, Scooted & Booted Sound System, It’s Not A Phase Mom! and Showgirl 2.0 & Olly Williams.
On Sunday, Emellia, Scooted & Booted Sound System, Side Hustle and Rehab Ramones will take to the stage.
Trade stalls will open from 10:00, with live entertainment getting underway at 11:00 and continuing until 19:00 on both days.
Visitors will be able to pick up food and drink from a range of Isle of Wight traders, including Island Ales, Rollin’ Pizzas, IOW Flippy Chippy, Jasper’s Coffee and Crumb Pact.
Mac ‘n’ cheese, crepes, cakes and bakes and candy floss will also be available.
A market area will feature gifts and experiences including henna tattoos, anime novelty items, mandalas and malas and laser art, alongside activities for children.
Ticket to Ryde will also support Alzheimer Café Isle of Wight this year, with volunteers attending throughout the weekend to raise awareness of the support available to people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, as well as their families and carers.

Admission to Ticket to Ryde is completely free, with no tickets required.
Organisers have reminded those attending that only alcohol purchased from the licensed bar can be consumed within the licensed event area. Visitors are also being asked to leave the seafront quietly out of respect for nearby residents.
