Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (Nettlestone Hill, Nettlestone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 and 1600 hours on Tuesday 26 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Nettlestone Hill (link), between its junctions with Nettlestone Hill and Seaview Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety whilst a mobile crane is in situ.

• The Isle of Wight Council (South Street, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for two days between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 25 March 2019 until Friday 29 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along South Street, between its junctions with Tennyson Road and Ommaney Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Benett Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Saturday 23 March 2019 until Sunday 24 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Benett Street, between its junctions with Park Road and Bailey Close. • The Isle of Wight Council (Queens Road, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 25 March 2019 until Wednesday 27 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Queens Road, between its junctions with Clayton Road and Camp Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Copse Lane, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2019

• The Isle of Wight Council (Little Princelett Shute, Apse Heath, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

• The Isle of Wight Council (Eden Road, Totland, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 25 March 2019 and Wednesday 27 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Eden Road, between its junctions with Cliff Road and Church Hill. • The Isle of Wight Council (Seven Sisters Road, St Lawrence, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Wednesday 27 March 2019 and Friday 29 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Seven Sisters Road, between its junctions with St Lawrence Shute and Spindlers Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Tennyson Road, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one night between approx. 1930 and 2300 hours from Friday 22 March 2019 and Tuesday 26 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Tennyson Road, between its junctions with High Street and a point 50 metres west thereof. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety whilst carriageway repairs are undertaken.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Tennyson Road, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one night between approx. 1930 and 2300 hours from Friday 22 March 2019 and Tuesday 26 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, the one-way restriction will be revoked along Tennyson Road, between its junctions with Upper Princes Road and a point 50 metres west of its junction with High Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The revocation is required to allow access to premises and businesses whilst carriageway repairs are undertaken.

• The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one night between approx. 1930 and 2300 hours from Friday 22 March 2019 and Tuesday 26 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced, in a northerly direction, along High Street, between its junctions with Avenue Road and Sunset Close. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required whilst carriageway repairs are undertaken.

• The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Restriction) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one night between approx. 1930 and 2300 hours from Friday 22 March 2019 and Tuesday 26 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to wait/park on High Street, between its junctions with Avenue Road and Silcombe Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for safety whilst carriageway repairs are undertaken.

• The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one night between approx. 1930 and 2300 hours from Friday 22 March 2019 and Tuesday 26 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, the one-way restriction will be revoked along High Street, between its junctions with Avenue Road and School Green Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Landscape Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one week, day and night, from approx. 0600 hours on Monday 25 March 2019 until 1800 hours on Monday 6 May 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Landscape Lane, between its junctions with Long Lane and Staplers Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Sheep Lane, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one week, day and night, from approx. 0600 hours on Monday 25 March 2019 until 1800 hours on Monday 6 May 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Sheep Lane, between its junctions with Upper Adgestone Road and Lower Adgestone Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Gravel Pit Lane, Havenstreet, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one week, day and night, from approx. 0600 hours on Monday 25 March 2019 until 1800 hours on Monday 6 May 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Gravel Pit Lane, between its junctions with Combley Road and Briddlesford Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Headen Rise and Cliff Road, Totland, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice, from approx. 0630 hours on Friday 22 March 2019 until 1800 hours on Friday 3 May 2019, or when the works have been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced along Headen Rise and Cliff Road, in a northerly direction, between its junctions with Alum Bay New Road to Eden Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for safety whilst carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken in The Broadway, Totland.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Watergate Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 hours on Monday 25 March 2019 until 1700 hours on Friday 29 March 2019, or until the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Watergate Road, between its junctions with Shide Road and Marvel Lane. • The Isle of Wight Council (Ventnor Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0900 hours on Tuesday 26 March 2019 until 1700 hours on Wednesday 27 March 2019, or until the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Ventnor Road, between its junctions with Newport Road to Little Princelett Shute. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility connection works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pound Lane, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between approx. 0730 and 1600 hours from Monday 25 March 2019 until Friday 5 April 2019, or until the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Pound Lane, for its entire length. • The Isle of Wight Council (Swanmore Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

• The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between approx. 0800 and 1600 hours on Sunday 24 March 2019, or until the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along High Street, between its junctions with Priory Road and School Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during BT pole replacement works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Combley Road, Havenstreet, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

• The Isle of Wight Council (Public Footpath N208, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Cyclists) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between approx. 0700 hours on Monday 25 March 2019 until 1700 hours on Friday 5 April 2019, or until the works have been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian or cyclist to proceed along Public Footpath N208, between its junctions with St Pauls View Road and Victoria Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility sewer repair works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0630 hours and 1800 hours on approximately 5 to 10 days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 22 March 2019 and Friday 3 May 2019. • The Isle of Wight Council (Victoria Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2019 – Victoria Road will be closed between its junctions with Fairlee Road and Cross lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (St Pauls View Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – St Pauls View Road will be closed between its junctions with Victoria Road and the end of the highway. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pitts Lane, Binstead, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2019 – Pitts Lane will be closed between its junctions with Church Road and High Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (The Broadway, Totland, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – The Broadway will be closed between its junctions with Church Hill and The Avenue, including the monument roundabout. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Smithards Lane, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2019 – Smithards Lane will be closed between its junctions with Arctic Road and Newport Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 22 March 2019 and Friday 17 May 2019 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately 8 weeks to enable the next planned programme of road reconstruction to be completed.  No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works.  In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between the approx. hours of 0900 and 1600 from Wednesday 20 March 2019 and Friday 22 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Lynch Lane, between its junctions with Winkle Street and Strawberry Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety whilst carriageway repairs are undertaken.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Public Footpath N214, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclist and Equestrians) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for two days between the approx. hours of 0900 and 1600 from Monday 18 March 2019 and Friday 22 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Public Footpath N214, between its junctions with Belmont Lane and Crematorium Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety whilst footpath repairs are undertaken.

• The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one night between the approx. hours of 1930 and 2300 from Tuesday 19 March 2019 and Thursday 21 March 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along High Street, between its junctions with Garfield Road and Star Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety whilst carriageway repairs are undertaken.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Staplers Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. hours of 0001 on Friday 15 March 2019 until 1700 hours on Friday 12 April 2019, a one -way restriction will be introduced along Staplers Road, in a westbound direction, between its junctions with Furrlongs and Fairlee Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for safety whilst utility works are being carried out.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0630 hours and 1800 hours on approximately 5 to 10 days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 15 March 2019 and Friday 26 April 2019. It may be necessary to close this section of road on more than one occasion within this timeframe.  The exact dates of the works will be confirmed on the Island Roads website at www.islandroads.com or ring on 01983 822440:

• The Isle of Wight Council (Appley Rise, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Appley Rise will be closed between its junctions with Esplanade and Ampthill Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
