Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –
• The Isle of Wight Council (Sandown Road, Bembridge, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Monday 03 February 2025, and Wednesday 05 February 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Sandown Road, Bembridge, from its junction with Bembridge Byway 37, and its junction with Bembridge Footpath 26. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repair works.
• The Isle of Wight Council (Gully Road, Nettlestone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for three shifts, between Monday 03 February 2025, and Friday 07 February 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Gully Road, Nettlestone, from its junction with Horestone Rose, and its junction with Horestone Path. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Wednesday 05 February 2025, and Friday 07 February 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Combley Road, Havenstreet, from its junction with Newport Bridleway 17, and its junction with Gravel Pit Lane. • The Isle of Wight Council (St Marys Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Wednesday 05 February 2025, and Friday 07 February 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along St Marys Road, Cowes, from its junction with Cross Street, and its junction with Denmark Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during ironwork repair.
• The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Isle of Wight, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for a period of approx 3-4 week between 0001 hours on Friday 31 January 2025 until 2359 hours on Friday 25 April 2025, or when the works has been completed, a ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ parking restriction will be introduced along the following lengths of roads; a) Jellicoe Road, Binstead, on both sides, for its entire length; b) Broadway Crescent, Binstead, on both sides, between its junction with Jellicoe Road and its junction with St Vincents Rod; c) Mayfield Road, Ryde, on both sides, between its junction with St Vincents Road and its junction with Binstead Road. Please note that on-street signage / cones will depict the exact lengths of the restrictions. The restrictions are required to ensure the safety and free flow of vehicles on the diversion route that is associated with works for Binstead Road, Ryde.
• The Isle of Wight Council (Jellicoe Road, Binstead, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for a period of approx 3-4 week between 0001 hours on Friday 31 January 2025 until 2359 hours on Friday 25 April 2025, or when the works has been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced along Jellicoe Road from its junction with Broadway Crescent to its junction with Ringwood Road, in a westerly direction. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required to ensure the safety and free flow of vehicles on the diversion route that is associated with works for Binstead Road, Ryde.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for two weeks, between Monday 27 January 2025, and Friday 07 February 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Cycle Track from Newport to Wootton, Wootton, from its junction with Park Road, and its junction with Station Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Emmett Hill, Chale, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Monday 27 January 2025, and Wednesday 29 January 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Emmett Hill, Chale, from its junction with Kingston Road, and its junction with Town Lane. • The Isle of Wight Council (Blacklands Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

• The Isle of Wight Council (Freshwater Bridleway 61, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Cyclists) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Monday, 27 January 2025 until 1630 hours on Saturday, 15 February 2025 or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian or cyclist to proceed along Freshwater Bridleway 61, Freshwater between its junctions with The Causeway and its junction with Yarmouth Footpath 2, Yarmouth. • The Isle of Wight Council (Furrlongs, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0930 hours on Monday 27 January 2025 until 1530 hours on Wednesday 29 January 2025, or when the works has been completed, Wilks Road will be closed between its junction with High Street and its junction with Town Lane. The one-way restriction along Wilkes Road will be revoked between its junction with High Steet and its junction with Town Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. • The Isle of Wight Council (Briddlesford Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0900 and 1530 hours on Tuesday 28 January 2025, or when the works has been completed, Briddlesford Road will be closed between its junction with the access road of Lynbottom Tip and Gravel Pit Lane. Access to and from the Tip will be from the Robin Hill roundabout direction only. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for tree maintenance works.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0930 and 1530 hours on Thursday 30 January 2025, or when the works has been completed, Long Lane will be closed between its junction with Briddlesford Road and its junction with Standen Heath access road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for utility works.
• The Isle of Wight Council (Whitecross Lane, Lake, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of 6’ 6” Width Restriction) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours on Friday 24 January 2025 until 2359 hours on Friday 7 March 2025, for approx 2 weeks within this period, or when the works has been completed, the 6’ 6” width restriction will be revoked along Whitecross Lane, for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The revocation is required to enable carriageway maintenance, lining, investigation and hedging & quartering works to be undertaken.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 24 January 2025 and Friday 07 March 2025 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 5 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining, investigation and hedging & quartering works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs.
These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Adverse weather will have an impact on this programme:
• The Isle of Wight Council (Old Westminster Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – Old Westminster Lane will be closed for its entire length
• The Isle of Wight Council (Winkle Street, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – Winkle Street, Calbourne will be closed for its entire length
• The Isle of Wight Council (Pritchetts Way, Rookley, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – Pritchetts Way, Rookley will be closed for its entire length.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pyle Street, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – Pyle Street will be closed between its junctions with Town Lane and St James Square.
• The Isle of Wight Council (St Johns Road, Wroxall, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – St Johns Road will be closed for its entire length.
