Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (Crescent Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Monday 08 November 2021 until 1830 hours on Friday 19 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Crescent Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Simeon Path, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Monday 08 November 2021 until 1830 hours on Friday 19 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Simeon Path between its junctions with Nunwell Street and Station Approach. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 17 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Monday 08 November 2021 until 1830 hours on Friday 19 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along a) Town Lane for its entire length; b) Union Road for its entire length; c) Wilkes Road for its entire length; d) George Street for its entire length; e) Simeon Path for its entire length; f) Station Avenue for its entire length; g) Station Road for its entire length. The alternative routes will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Avenue Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction) Order No 3 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Monday 08 November 2021 until 1830 hours on Friday 03 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced along Avenue Road in a northbound direction between its junctions with High Street and Broadway. The alternative route and timings of these phased works will be sign posted locally. The restriction is required for safety during utility works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (School Lane, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, on Monday 08 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along School Lane for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during landscaping works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Terrace Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

• The Isle of Wight Council (Ashlake Copse Road, Wootton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours, for one day, from Monday 08 November 2021 until Friday 12 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Ashlake Copse Road between its junctions with Ryde Footpath 61 to the end of the highway. • The Isle of Wight Council (Collingwood Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Monday 08 November 2021 until Wednesday 10 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Collingwood Road between its junctions with Brook Road and Landguard Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Merstone Lane, Godshill, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours, each day, from Monday 08 November 2021 until Wednesday 10 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Merstone Lane for its entire length. These are phased works, and the alternative routes will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during CCTV drainage surveying and tree cutting.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Culver Down Road, Bembridge, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours until 1600 hours, for one day, from Wednesday 10 November 2021 until Friday 12 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Culver Down Road for its entire length. • The Isle of Wight Council (Priory Path, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours until 1600 hours, for one day, from Wednesday 10 November 2021 until Friday 12 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall proceed along Priory Path for its entire length. • The Isle of Wight Council (St Michaels Avenue, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0930 hours until 1530 hours, or, from 1930 hours until 2300 hours, for one day from Wednesday 10 November 2021 until Friday 12 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along St Michaels Avenue between its junctions with Southfield Gardens and Bettesworth Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (St Davids Road, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Wednesday 10 November 2021 until Friday 12 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along St Davids Road, from its northern junction with Upper Yarborough Road to the end of the highway. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 05 November 2021 and Friday 17 December 2021 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately 6 weeks, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of road reconstruction to be completed.  No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works.  In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:

• The Isle of Wight Council (Brook Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2021 – Brook Road between its junctions with Collingwood Road and Hatherton Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for safety during footway resurfacing works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Albert Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2021 – Albert Road between its junctions with Garfield Road and Hatherton Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for safety during footway resurfacing works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Atherfield Road, Shorwell, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2021

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pyle Shute, Chale, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0930 hours from Thursday 04 November 2021 until 1530 hours on Friday 05 November 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pyle Shute between its junctions with Atherfield Road and Westside Lane. • The Isle of Wight Council (Court Road, Totland, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021

• The Isle of Wight Council (Marina Avenue, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0700 hours from Monday 01 November 2021 until 1830 hours on Friday 10 December 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Marina Avenue for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 29 October 2021 and Friday 10 December 2021.
