Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (Alfred Road, Lake, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Monday 5 October 2020 until 2000 hours on Monday 12 October 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Alfred Road, for its entire length, the one-way restriction will also be revoked for its entire length to allow access to premises. • The Isle of Wight Council (Cliff Way, Lake, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours from Wednesday 7 October 2020 until 2000 hours on Wednesday 21 October 2020, or when the works have been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced along North Road, from its junction with Hope Road to its junction with St Pauls Avenue, in a north-east to south-east direction. The restriction is required for safety during utility works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (West Avenue, Lake, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

• The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Sandown to Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclists and Equestrians) Order No 4 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours on Monday 5 October 2020 until 2359 hours on Friday 16 October 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian, cyclist or equestrian, to proceed along Cycle Track from Sandown to Newport, between its junctions with Alverstone Main Road and Longwood Lane. • The Isle of Wight Council (Bellevue Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0700 hours on Monday 5 October 2020 until 1800 hours on Friday 16 October 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Bellevue Road, between its junctions with Moorgreen Road and Seaview Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Station Lane, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for one day between Monday 5 October 2020 and Wednesday 7 October 2020, between 0700 hours and 2300 hours, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Station Lane, between Grove Road and Broadway. • The Isle of Wight Council (Pellhurst Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One Way) Order No 2 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for one night between Monday 5 October 2020 and Wednesday 7 October 2020, between 1930 hours and 2300 hours, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pellhurst Road, between Argyll Street and Queens Road in a westerly direction. The direction of travel will be from Queens Road to Pellhurst Road. The restriction is required for footway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Rowridge Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2020

• The Isle of Wight Council (Underwood Lane, Porchfield, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for one day between Wednesday 7 October 2020 and Friday 9 October 2020, between 0800 hours and 2300 hours, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Underwood Lane, between Whiteoak Lane and Yarmouth Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Colwell Common Road, Totland, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for one day between Monday 5 October 2020 and Wednesday 7 October 2020, between 0800 hours and 2300 hours, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Colwell Common Road, between Colwell Chine Road and Colwell Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Atkinson Drive, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for two days between Monday 5 October 2020 and Friday 9 October 2020, at all times, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Atkinson Drive, between Cook Avenue and Cooper Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Pier Road, Seaview, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that, for one day between Wednesday 7 October 2020 and Friday 9 October 2020, between 0800 hours and 2300 hours, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Pier Road, between Old Seaview Lane and the end of the public highway. There is no alternative route. The closure is required for carriageway repairs to the road.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0630 hours and 1800 hours on approximately 5 to 10 days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 2nd October 2020 and Friday 13th November 2020. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences It may be necessary to close this section of road on more than one occasion within this timeframe:

• The Isle of Wight Council (St Johns Wood Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – St Johns Wood Road will be closed between St Johns Hill and Park Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pellhurst Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 3 2020 – Pellhurst Road will be closed between Upton Road and Partlands Avenue. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Westhill Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2020 – Westhill Road will be closed between St Johns Avenue and Alexandra Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Park Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2020 – Park Road will be closed between Dover Street and Monkton Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Upton Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 3 2020 – Upton Road, Ryde will be closed between Partlands Avenue and William Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Prince Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – Prince Street will be closed for its entire length. There is no alternative route.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Albert Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – Albert Street will be closed for its entire length. There is no alternative route.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Ranelagh Road, Lake, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – Ranelagh Road will be closed from Lake Hill to Cliff Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (St Martins Road, Wroxall, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – St Martins Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Old Seaview Lane, Seaview, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – Old Seaview Lane will be close for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – High Street will be closed between Market Square and Basketts Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Newport Road, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2020 – Newport Road will be closed between Gills Cliff Road and Down Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 5 2020 – High Street will be closed between Spring Hill and Albert Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Spring Hill, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – Spring Hill will become One Way from High Street to Grove Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Victoria Road, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – Victoria Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Lower Limerstone Lane, Brighstone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2020 – Lower Limerstone Lane will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
