Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (Granville Road, Totland, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Tuesday 09 March 2021 until 1700 hours on Friday 12 March 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Granville Road, between its junctions with Cliff Road and Ward Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Seaview Lane, Nettlestone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0800 and 2300 hours for one day, from Wednesday 10 March 2021 until Friday 12 March 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Seaview Lane between its junctions with Nettlestone Hill and Holgate Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Nunnery Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021

• The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Lake, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order No 2 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from a) 0800 hours on Monday 01 March 2021 until 2000 hours on Friday 02 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Medeway for its entire length; b) 0800 hours on Monday 08 March 2021 until 2000 hours on Friday 12 March 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Fairmead Close for its entire length; c) 0800 hours on Monday 08 March 2021 until 1800 hours on Friday 12 March 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall proceed along Sandown and Shanklin Footpath 29 between its junctions with Lake Green Road to Medeway. • The Isle of Wight Council (Hill Place Lane, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

• The Isle of Wight Council (Arctic Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0001 hours from Monday 01 March until 2359 hours on Friday 09 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no waiting at any time parking restriction will be introduced along Arctic Road, on both sides, for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Esplanade, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0001 hours from Monday 01 March 2021 until 2359 hours on Friday 05 March 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Esplanade between its junctions with Bath Road and Alma Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during structure repairs.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 26 February 2021 and Friday 23 April 2021 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately 8 weeks, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of road reconstruction to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works.  In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:

• The Isle of Wight Council (York Avenue, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2021 – York Avenue, between its junctions with Crossways Road to Well Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Whippingham Road, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2021 – Whippingham Road, between its junctions with Crossways Road to Saunders Way. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Trinity Road, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2021 – Trinity Road, between its junctions with Madeira Road and St Boniface Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
