Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Thursday 26 September 2024 until 1600 hours on Monday 30 September 2024, or when the works has been completed, Coastguard Lane will be closed for its entire length. There is no alternative route. The closure is required for utility works.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 20 September 2024 and Friday 1 November 2024 the following roads will be closed between either 0600 and 1800 hours or between 1800 and 0600 hours for a period of approximately one to 5 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway resurfacing and lining works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs.
These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.
