TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (Long Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Wednesday 5 February 2020 until Friday 7 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Long Lane, between its junctions with Briddlesford Road and Arreton Footpath 25. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during street furniture maintenance.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Rew Lane, Wroxall, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between approx. 0900 and 1530 hours each day from Monday 3 February 2020 until Friday 7 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Rew Lane, between its junctions with West Street and Newport Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during tree maintenance works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Whitehouse Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 3 February 2020 until Wednesday 5 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Whitehouse Road, between its junctions with Bunts Hill and Colemans Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Oakfield Road and Grange Road, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 3 February 2020 until Wednesday 5 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Oakfield Road and Grange Road, between its junctions with Orchard Road and Upper Yarborough Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Newlands, St Helens, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Wednesday 5 February 2020 until Friday 7 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Newlands, for its entire length. There is no alternative route. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Longwood Lane, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Wednesday 5 February 2020 until Friday 7 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Longwood Lane between its junctions with Lower Road and Golf Links Road. • The Isle of Wight Council (Alverstone Road, Newchurch, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 1800 hours on Monday 3 February 2020 until 0600 hours on Wednesday 5 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Alverstone Road between its junctions with Newport Road to Woods Drive. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility installation works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Wilmingham Lane, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0730 hours on Monday 3 February 2020 until 1700 hours on Friday 7 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Wilmingham Lane between its junctions with Thorley Street and Newport Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during drainage works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Landguard Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 hours on Monday 3 February 2020 until 1800 hours on Friday 14 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced along Landguard Road from its junction with Falcon Cross Road to its junction with Carter Road in a northerly direction. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for safety during utility installation works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pump Lane, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours each day, from Monday 3 February 2020 until Friday 7 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pump Lane between its junction with Five Houses Lane and Calbourne Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Attrills Lane, St Helens, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours, from Friday 31 January 2020 until Tuesday 4 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Attrills Lane for its entire length. There is no alternative route. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Newport Road, Niton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours, from Monday 3 February 2020 until Wednesday 5 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newport Road between its junctions with Southford lane and Kingates Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Marks Corner Village Road, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours, from Wednesday 5 February 2020 until Friday 7 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Marks Corner Village Road for its entire length. There is no alternative route. The closure is required for safety during drainage works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Burnt House Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours, from Wednesday 5 February 2020 until Friday 7 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Burnt House Lane between its junctions with Little Pan access road and Great East Standen access road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during drainage repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Limerstone Road, Brighstone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours, from Monday 3 February 2020 until Wednesday 5 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Limerstone Road between its junctions with Lower Limerstone Lane and Main Road, Brighstone. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Dover Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours, from Monday 3 February 2020 until Wednesday 5 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Dover Street between its junctions with Bellevue Road and Melville Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0630 hours and 1800 hours on approximately 1 to 10 days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 31 January 2020 and Friday 13 March 2020. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.  It may be necessary to close this section of road on more than one occasion within this timeframe:

• The Isle of Wight Council (Hollow Lane, Godshill, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Hollow Lane will be closed between High Street and Paddock Close. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Church Street, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Church Street will be closed between High Street and Belgrave Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pier Street, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Pier Street will be closed between Albert Street and Shore Hill. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1100 hours until 1130 hours on Sunday 2 February 2020, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along a) Canoe Lake Road, for its entire length and b) Esplanade, between Canoe Lake Road and North Walk. The closure is required for safety during the Ryde 10 Mile run and it is expected that the road will only be closed for a maximum of 15 minutes to allow the run to start safely. The diversion will be signposted locally.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0730 hours on Monday 27 January 2020 until 1800 hours on Friday 31 January 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Monkton Street, between its junctions with Park Road and St Johns Hill. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Paddock Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 hours on Wednesday 29 January 2020 until 1800 hours on Thursday 6 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Paddock Road, between its junctions with Salem Road and Florence Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during fibre optic installation works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Avenue Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 hours on Monday 27 January 2020 until 1630 hours on Friday 14 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Avenue Road, between its junctions with College Close and St Johns Crescent. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility mains replacement works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Moortown Lane, Brighstone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

• The Isle of Wight Council (Grafton Street, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

• The Isle of Wight Council (Newport Road, Godshill, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0600 hours on Monday 27 January 2020 until 2359 hours on Friday 21 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Newport Road, between its junctions with Munsley Lane and Brownriggs Farm Shop. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Structure works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Ventnor Road, Newchurch, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2020

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0600 hours on Monday 27 January 2020 until 2359 hours on Friday 21 February 2020, or when the works have been completed, a No Waiting at Any Time parking restriction will be introduced, on both sides, along Ventnor Road, between its junctions with Little Princelett Shute and Newport Road. The restrictions are required for safety on the diversion route during Structure works on Newport Road, Godshill.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Holyrood Street, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – A one-way restriction will be introduced along Holyrood Street from the access to St Cross Court to Crocker Street, in a southern direction. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
