TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (Vine Road, St Helens, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Wednesday 3 July 2019 until Friday 5 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Vine Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during bridge maintenance work.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Victoria Street, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Wednesday 3 July 2019 until Friday 5 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Victoria Street, between its junctions with High Street and Albert Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Chatfield Road, Niton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Monday 1 July 2019 until Wednesday 3 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Chatfield Road, between the junctions of Priory Walk and Kingates Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Greenway, Binstead, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 1 July 2019 until Wednesday 3 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Greenway, between the junctions of Verwood Drove and The Mall. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (John Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Monday 1 July 2019 until Wednesday 3 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along John Street, between the junctions of Victoria Street and High Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Esplanade Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Monday 1 July 2019 until Wednesday 3 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Esplanade Road, between the junctions of Queens Road and Esplanade Walk. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during ironwork repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (South Street, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one night between approx. 1930 and 2300 hours from Tuesday 2 July 2019 until Thursday 4 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along South Street, between the junctions of St James Street and the exit of the bus station. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Burnt House Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Wednesday 3 July 2019 until Friday 5 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Burnt House Lane, between its junctions with Pan Lane and St Georges Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Freshwater Road, Shalfleet, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Wednesday 3 July 2019 until Friday 5 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Freshwater Road, between its junctions with Newbridge Road and Brook Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during line painting works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (West Street, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 hours on Wednesday 3 July 2019 until 1800 hours on Wednesday 14 August 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along West Street, for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility fibre installation works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (West Street, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary One-Way Revocation) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 hours on Wednesday 3 July 2019 until 1800 hours on Wednesday 14 August 2019, or when the works have been completed, the one-way restriction will be revoked along West Street, for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The revocation is required for safety during utility fibre installation works and to allow access to premises and businesses as the works progress.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0630 hours and 1800 hours on approximately 5 to 10 days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 28 June 2019 and Friday 9 August 2019. • The Isle of Wight Council (Mitchells Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2019 – Mitchells Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Terrace Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Terrace Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Gurnard Heights, Gurnard, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Gurnard Heights will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Worsley Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Worsley Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Fort Warden Road, Totland, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Fort Warden will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (The Terrace, Chale, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – The Terrace will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Clay Lane, Newbridge, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Clay Lane will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (St Johns Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2019 – St Johns Road will be closed between Cypress Road and Drake Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1500 hours until 1800 hours on Saturday 29 June 2019, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along Queens Road, Newport Street, High Street, Union Street and Esplanade. The closure is required for safety during the Ryde Mardi Gras. The diversion will be signposted locally.

The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility installation works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (The Parade, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 hours on Thursday 27 June 2019 until 1200 hours on Monday 1 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along The Parade, between its junctions with Bath Road and the end of the highway. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during the Round the Island Yacht Event.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pitt Place Lane, Brighstone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 24 June 2019 until Wednesday 26 June 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Pitt Place Lane, between its junctions with Brighstone Road and the end of the highway. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs. Access will be maintained where possible

• The Isle of Wight Council (Laundry Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 24 June 2019 until Wednesday 26 June 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Laundry Lane, between its junctions with Portland Street and Bedford Row. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs. Access will be maintained where possible

• The Isle of Wight Council (Nunnery Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0900 and 1600 hours from Monday 24 June 2019 until Wednesday 26 June 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Nunnery Lane, between its junctions with Whitcombe Road and Watergate Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs. Access will be maintained where possible

• The Isle of Wight Council (Church Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Wednesday 26 June 2019 until Friday 28 June 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Church Road, between its junctions with Union Road and Castle Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs. Access will be maintained where possible

• The Isle of Wight Council (Westhill Road and Highfield Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Monday 24 June 2019 until Friday 28 June 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Westhill Road, between its junctions with Highfield Road and Westhill Drive and Highfield Road from Westhill Road and Paddock Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during remedial wall works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Alexandra Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from approx. 0800 hours Monday 24 June 2019 until 1800 hours of Friday 28 June 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Alexandra Road, between its junctions with High Park Road and St Johns Hill. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during base recon works. Access will be maintained where possible as the works progress.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Town Gate Footbridge, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Cyclists) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Monday 1 July 2019 until Wednesday 3 July 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian or cyclist, to proceed along Town Gate Footbridge, for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during bridge maintenance work.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Garfield Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Friday 21 June 2019 until Tuesday 25 June 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Garfield Road, between its junctions with High Street and Victoria Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs. Access will be maintained where possible as the works progress.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Melbourne Street, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2019

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between approx. 0930 and 1530 hours from Friday 21 June 2019 until Tuesday 25 June 2019, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, to proceed along Melbourne Street, between its junctions with Trafalgar Road and Clarendon Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs. Access will be maintained where possible as the works progress.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0630 hours and 1800 hours on approximately 5 to 10 days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs.

The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 21 June 2019 and Friday 2 August 2019. • The Isle of Wight Council (Dracaena Gardens, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Dracaena Gardens will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Elm Grove, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2019 – Elm Grove will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Bonchurch Village Road, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 3 2019 – Bonchurch Village Road will be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
