More than 30 stalls selling locally handcrafted gifts will fill Dimbola Museum and Galleries in Freshwater Bay next weekend, as its popular Art & Craft Christmas Fair returns for 2 days of festive shopping.
The free-entry event will take place on Saturday 14th November and Sunday 15th November, running from 10:00-16:00 on both days.
Visitors will be able to browse a wide range of handmade items, including artwork, jewellery, pottery, Christmas decorations, glasswork, woodwork and embroidery.
There will also be an opportunity for families to have festive photographs taken, with Christian Beasley offering pet and child portraits throughout the event. Visitors are invited to bring along their dogs or children for a Christmas-themed photo shoot.
Dimbola’s tearoom will be serving festive food, treats and tipples across the weekend.
A fundraising raffle will also take place to support the museum’s ongoing work, with prizes donated by local businesses and organisations.
Supporters include Isle of Wight Pearl, The Albion, West Wight Sports Centre, Island Automotive, Triple A Records, IOW Espresso, Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Wightlink, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and Tesco Freshwater.
Admission to the Christmas Fair is free throughout the weekend.
Visitors should note that the gallery space will be occupied by stallholders, meaning access to the museum and exhibition displays will be restricted during the event.
