David Gray, of Gunville Road in Newport, first appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on 21st October 2025 charged with rape of a child under the age of 13, and 3 counts of sexual activity with a child, aged between 13 and 17.
The 53-year-old entered not guilty pleas on 15th December 2025.
The alleged offending occurred on the Isle of Wight between 2009 and 2013.
Gray appeared before Judge England, Assistant Judge Advocate General, earlier this week (Tuesday) for a further case management hearing, where issues with legal paperwork were discussed.
The case was adjourned, and Gray was bailed to appear at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 2nd November for trial.
