Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious collision on Military Road last week.
As first reported by Island Echo, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called at 16:19 on 30th September to a report of a collision involving a white Audi S3 and a blue Subaru Outback, near the junction with Grange Farm, Brighstone.
Such was the nature of the incident, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) was scrambled to the scene landing beside the crash scene.
Firefighters from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service had to cut the roof off the Subaru in order to extricate the casaulties involved.
All 3 people involved were taken to St Mary’s Hospital where they were treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Military Road was closed in both directions whilst the incident was dealt with and cleared.
