A homeless man who was found in possession of heroin after he assaulted a bus driver, will learn his fate next week.
Bradley Sparshott, 35, of no fixed abode, admitted possession of a class A drug (heroin) and common assault when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court earlier this week (Friday).
Prosecuting for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), Serena Edwards, told the court that the incident occurred on the 23rd June 2026.
Court heard how the assault was against a Southern Vectis bus driver.
No mitigation was offered by Sparshott’s solicitor Ava Ford.
The case was adjourned to tie-up with other matters Sparshott is facing on Tuesday 13th October.
