Wight Commercials is set to begin trading from a new purpose-built workshop in Newport, marking a significant expansion for the Isle of Wight vehicle servicing and repair business.
The company will officially relocate from its current base at Long Lane Industrial Estate to new premises at Reads Farm, off Betty Haunt Lane near Newport, from 1st September.
The move sees Wight Commercials operating from a larger, purpose-built workshop designed to increase capacity, improve customer facilities and house the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment.
The business provides servicing, maintenance and repairs for HGVs, PSVs, vans and cars, with the new workshop offering diagnostics, repairs, routine servicing and MOT preparation.
Ahead of the official opening, Wight Commercials is inviting customers, local businesses and members of the public to an open day on Sunday 31st August between 12:00 and 16:00.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the new workshop, meet the team and learn more about the services on offer, with refreshments available throughout the afternoon.
The company says the move will allow it to continue providing the high standard of service it has become known for while expanding its capacity to meet growing demand.
