Real ales, craft ciders, live music and heritage steam trains will come together at Havenstreet next month as the Isle of Wight Steam Railway’s popular Beer & Steam festival returns.
Taking place over the weekend of 10th and 11th October, the autumn event will combine heritage steam travel with a showcase of real ales and craft ciders.
An expansive selection of real ales will be available, including Isle of Wight offerings from Goddards Brewery, Yates’ and Island Brewery.
Guest ales sourced from further afield, including Yorkshire and Somerset, will also feature, alongside a handpicked selection of craft ciders.
Entry to Havenstreet Station and the main festival is free, with the real ale bar open from 11:00-17:00 on both days.
Live music will be performed at Havenstreet Station from 13:00-16:00 each day.
2 Bit will perform on Saturday (10th October), while JC & Angelina will provide the live music on Sunday (11th October).
Regular steam train services will operate throughout the weekend, giving visitors the opportunity to travel aboard vintage carriages through the Isle of Wight countryside.
Standard operating day fares will apply for those wishing to travel on the railway.
Special £10 adult return tickets between Wootton or Smallbrook and Havenstreet will also be available for the event.
The £10 return tickets are available for those arriving by bus at Wootton Station or by Island Line train at Smallbrook who want to continue by steam train to the festival at Havenstreet.
