Islanders are being invited to remember loved ones who are no longer with us at a special Christmas memorial service in Sandown next month, which will also support Prostate Cancer UK.
The Co-operative Funeralcare will hold its annual Christmas Memorial Service at Lake Funeralcare on The Fairway in Sandown on Tuesday 1st December, starting at 18:30.
The event will bring members of the Isle of Wight community together to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones during the festive season.
Those attending will have the opportunity to leave a personal memorial message on a Christmas tree, creating a space for reflection and remembrance.
The tree has been sponsored and supplied by Thompson’s and Shide Christmas Trees.
The evening will also feature musical performances, a raffle and light refreshments, with the event supporting Prostate Cancer UK and raising awareness of its work helping men and families affected by prostate cancer.
A spokesperson for The Co-operative Funeralcare team has said:
“This annual event offers a space to honour and remember loved ones during the festive season.
“Guests will be invited to place a personal memorial message on our Christmas Tree, creating a moment of reflection and togetherness.
“The tree was sponsored and supplied by Thompsons and Shide Christmas Trees.”
The service will begin at 18:30 on 1st December at Lake Funeralcare, The Fairway, Sandown.
