Organisations and individuals championing sustainability across the Isle of Wight have been recognised at this year’s Green Impact Isle of Wight Awards.
The awards ceremony, held at The Water Mill in Calbourne, celebrated those making a positive environmental impact in communities across the Island.
Representatives from Cowes Town Council attended the event alongside the Mayor of Cowes and his Consort, joining guests from a wide range of organisations and businesses.
Awards were presented by Isle of Wight MPs Richard Quigley and Joe Robertson, who praised the commitment and achievements of those leading the way in sustainability.
One of the standout moments of the ceremony saw Cowes Harbour Commission receive the prestigious Platinum Award in recognition of its outstanding environmental work.
Guests were also given a guided tour of The Water Mill by Sally Chaucer, before enjoying a lunch showcasing locally sourced produce from Briddlesford Farm, The Garlic Farm and Island Tomatoes.
The event highlighted the growing commitment to environmental responsibility across the Isle of Wight, bringing together organisations, businesses and community leaders to celebrate their achievements and inspire future action.
