The body of a woman in her 80s has been discovered inside a property in Cowes.
Emergency services were called at 17:09 yesterday afternoon (Monday) following concerns raised for the welfare of a woman at an address on Mill Hill Road.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary all responded to the scene.
Sadly, the body of a woman in her 80s was located at the property.
Her next of kin is aware.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
