The 2-bedroomed Orchard End, at Undercliff Drive in Niton, was among 186 lists listed across England by Clive Emson Auctioneers, with the online auction concluding on Thursday.
The freehold detached property, with a garage, went for £21,000 above guide price.
A 2-bedroom vacant apartment on the first floor at 16A Atherley Road, Shanklin, fetched £71,000 and is on the remainder of a 125-year lease from June 1978 at a current ground rental of £5 per annum.
Let at £16,140 per annum at 21 & 21A Cambridge Road, East Cowes, a pair of 1-bedroom flats for freehold investment went for £167,000.
Let at £8,100 per annum, on a 999-year lease from January 2004, a 1-bedroom flat with parking and a share of the freehold sold for £73,000 in a bidding war, with 46 bids and the final one coming in at £23,000 above guide price. The property is 1 Newlands Villa Apartments, 2 Royal Crescent, Sandown.
On the remainder of an 850-year lease, from October 1998, with vacant possession, a vacant 2-bedroom seafront flat at 11 Napoleons Landing, Esplanade, Sandown. The first-floor property, which has a sea-view balcony, along with gated parking, fetched £165,000.
Postponed, the sale of a freehold commercial investment at 28 High Street, Newport, which was guided at £125,000+. Let until the end of this May at £15,000 per annum, the two-storey building is at present let to Blacks, part of JD Sports Plc, under the terms of a commercial lease.

improves on the island, sadly it ain’t the once safe island
it used too be.
If I knew 50 years ago how the island would turn out
i would have moved elsewhere, back thosedays we had
very little crime, a much less population and cheaper and
reliable ferries.
