Wight Eagles Ladies have maintained their 100% record this season with a 3-4 win over City Ladies.
The game was very even in the first 15 minutres. City Ladies caused a threat a couple of time only to be denied by Eagles Keeper Morgan Allen .
Midway through the first half, a fantastic free kick from player/manager Ellena Boakes gave Wight Eagles the lead (0-1). Soon, the Islanders made it 0-2 with a great strike from Sammie Mumford.
Ellena Boakes then added her second to make it 0-3 at half time.

In the 2nd half, City Ladies were on the fight back straight out of the blocks, putting pressure on the Island side as they scored to make it 1-3 and shortly after added a 2nd.
The game was back on, and City Ladies were up for the fight back, only for Ellena Boakes to seal the game off (2-4) and keep the Eagles 100% recored for the season.
City Ladies managed to find the back of the Eagles net with 10 mins left on the clock (2-4), but the Islanders saw the game out to take a fully deserved win .

WINCHESTER FYLERS 1 – 5 WIGHT EAGLES U12
The youngest Eagles side travelled to Winchester hoping to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
Evlynn Harvey was on top form, getting 4 goals for the island side, and Paignton Kennedy scored for the Eagles as they stay unbeaten and joint top.
HAMBLE LIONESSES 0 – 2 WIGHT EAGLES U14

The U14s travelled to Hamble at the weekend, looking to extend their unbeaten run off the back of last weekend’s win.
They started in full control; they created great patterns of play and looked the most likely to score.
The deadlock was broken with Lyla Cooke who carried on with her amazing form of goals to give Eagles the lead (0-1).
Ellie Warren then picked a great pass in between 2 defenders to set up captain Kelsie Ronan to seal the 3 points for the Island side who sit joint top (0-2).
Manager Scott Ronan said:
“This was a solid performance from the girls today. They again didn’t let me down and maintained their fully deserved unbeaten run.
“I’m lucky to have such a fantastic bunch of girls who play out of there skin every week.”
WINCHESTER 4 – 2 WIGHT EAGLES U16
The oldest Academy side started brightly against last season’s league champions.
The Eagles found themselves 0-1 up after 13 minutes, with a well-worked team goal from Darcey Simpson on her return to the team after a year out .
As the game progressed, the island side looked comfortable and were in total control of the game. Winchester had their chances but were denied by Lizzie Dodds in goal.

As the 2nd half started, Winchester came out on top trying to break through the strong defence but only to be stopped by the strong pair of Gabby Robinson and Erin Sharp .
In the 50th minute, the Eagles broke away, playing out of the back and working the ball wide for a great cross to find the feet of Tawnie Siddall to make it 0-2.
As the game stretched over the next 30 minutes, Winchester found an opening to pull one back; they then had a edge of confidence and grew on the attack only to find another way through and level at 2-2 .
The Eagles were finding it hard to stop the league leaders, as they pushed for the winner only for a mistake in passing the ball ended up in a result of the ball finding the net again, and the Island side found themselves behind for the first time (3-2).
In the last 5 minutes, Winchester sealed the game with a further goal to make it 4-2.
