Adgestone Campsite, a popular Isle of Wight family camping destination, is set to welcome visitors once again next month after having undergone a major renovation, having been shut for nearly 3 years.
A significant refurbishment programme has been taking place at the site on Lower Road, Adgestone, ahead of its return for the 2026 summer season.
The extensive works include improvements to the grounds and landscaping, refurbishment of camping and touring areas, as well as a new cafe, convenience shop, children’s play areas and cycle hire across the park.
Adgestone Camping & Touring Park has long been a popular destination for families visiting the Isle of Wight, thanks to its countryside setting between Brading and Sandown, outdoor swimming pool and dedicated walking areas.
With over 290 camping, touring and seasonal pitches, management says further improvements are planned, including enhancements to the fishing lake, archery and outdoor activities, family entertainment and seasonal events.
Future phases of development are also expected to include luxury glamping accommodation and spa and wellness facilities.
The site’s popular outdoor heated swimming pool is expected to reopen along with the rest of the park on 1st July.
To mark the reopening, introductory prices have been announced from £20 per pitch, per night with electric hook-up, subject to availability. Seasonal pitches are also being offered from £1,200 for the period between 1st July and 31st October 2026.
Bookings are now being accepted ahead of the official reopening.
