Freshwater Bay golfers Paula Burke and Di Clark have been crowned winners of the 2026 Isle of Wight Ladies Golf Association Fourball competition.
A total of 25 pairs from 7 Island clubs took part in the annual Fourball better ball match play knockout competition, which began in April.
The final was played at Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club on Tuesday (29th September), with an all-Freshwater Bay contest between Jo Wright and Liz Morris and Paula Burke and Di Clark.
The match proved to be a closely fought affair, eventually going to the 23rd hole before Paula and Di secured victory.
IWLGA President Maggie Ankers presented the trophies following the final.
The competition had featured a number of tight matches throughout the knockout stages.
