Families are being invited to take to the skies at Brading Roman Villa this weekend for a free community kite day.
Brading Residents Association, working with Brading Roman Villa, is hosting the event on Saturday (3rd October) between 12:00 and 15:00.
The afternoon will include kite flying, games, a scavenger hunt, community stalls and bike safety checks.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own kite, or make one at home beforehand, before heading to the Villa for the family-friendly event.
The Forum Café will also be open for light lunches and homemade cakes, while the museum will remain open as usual for those wishing to explore the Roman site.
Those paying for museum admission will receive an annual pass at no extra cost, allowing them to return throughout the year.
Entry to the kite day is free, with free parking also available.
The event is aimed at bringing local families, residents and visitors together for an afternoon of outdoor activities and community fun.
