Island Echo has been shortlisted in 2 categories at the 2026 Isle of Wight Chamber Business Awards, which celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement across the Island’s business community.
The finalists were revealed on Monday, with more than 35 businesses and organisations recognised across 15 categories ahead of this year’s awards ceremony.
Island Echo has been named among those in contention for the Business Social Impact Award and the Small Business of the Year Award, and will now go forward to the gala event in September, when the winners will be announced.
The annual Chamber Business Awards are regarded as one of the most prestigious events in the Isle of Wight business calendar, shining a spotlight on businesses of all sizes and sectors.

This is not the first time Island Echo has enjoyed success at the awards…
Back in 2019, the independent news publication was crowned Micro Business of the Year, with judges praising the company’s growth and ambition.
More recently, Island Echo received a Highly Commended accolade at the 2025 Chamber Business Awards after being shortlisted for the Entrepreneur Award. There was also a shortlisting for Growth Business of the Year.
The winners of the 2026 Isle of Wight Chamber Business Awards will be announced at a black-tie ceremony on Friday 11th September, at Bembridge Fort.
