Police on the Isle of Wight have launched a search for a missing holidaymaker who hasn’t been seen since yesterday afternoon (Monday).
Guy Ramsden, 67, from Manchester, was last seen in Cowes at around 14:30 yesterday after getting off a coach which was visiting the town.
Mr Ramsden has been staying at The Bay Shore Hotel in Sandown, but failed to return last night.
He is described as:
• White
• Approximately 6ft tall
• Stocky build
• Grey messy hair
• Grey stubbly beard
Guy was last seen wearing a dark bobble hat covering most of his hair, black rimmed glasses, colourful Bermuda shorts, trainers, a black bomber jacket and gloves.
He was also carrying a rucksack and a black box containing a camera.
UPDATE @ 12:42 – Mr Ramsden has now been located.
Police have thanked everyone who helped share this appeal for information.

Really hope he’s found safe and well.
But should we have Holiday makers here?
Especially from Manchester??
Rules say only essential travel from high tier to lower tier but the government has made an exception for holidays. So shows that they can not run a bath and don’t care about places like the island. This information comes from a relative who is in the police in Essex and was coming here for a holiday not now..
Glad he’s been found safe and well. But if the government force Manchester into a tier 3 lockdown later on today which means restrictions on travel out of the area, are our council going to stop people travelling here. I expect there are more coaches and people booked for next week.
Should be restricting travel before it gets bad on the island. Not after the horse has bolted. Maybe we should all go down to the ferry ports Saturday and protest for restrictions on people coming over. That way the pubs will be able to stay open for locals. Keep getting holiday makers the pubs will be shut down.
Not only irresponsible by travelling in these troubling times, especially from Lancashire, but he then has the gaul to apparently ‘lose himself’ thus stretching further our already struggling emergency services. Damned selfish or ought to be in a home: then he’d learn the real meaning of ‘lockdown’.
