Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 20s was subjected to racial abuse inside McDonald’s in Newport last night (Thursday).
The incident is reported to have happened at around 18:00 inside the fast food restaurant on St James Street.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary says the man was allegedly racially abused by a woman, and officers are now asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Anyone who was in McDonald’s at the time and saw or heard what happened is urged to contact police.
