The annual Chillerton Flower Show returns to the Isle of Wight later this month, bringing a traditional afternoon of village entertainment, competitions and family-friendly activities to Chillerton Village Green.
The popular event will take place on Saturday 25th July between 14:00 and 17:00, with visitors invited to enjoy a showcase of horticulture, home crafts and local talent.
Inside the main marquee, exhibits will include vegetables, flowers, home baking, children’s classes, photography and artwork, with entries from across the local community.
Around the village green, visitors can enjoy traditional attractions such as skittles and a coconut shy, alongside live music performances throughout the afternoon. A tug-of-war will also take place, while the Isle of Wight Squirrel Society and Isle of Wight Hedgehog Society will be on hand with displays.
Tea and homemade cakes will be served in the Village Hall, offering visitors the chance to relax and enjoy refreshments during the event.
Admission is £3 for adults, while children can attend free of charge. Free parking will also be available.
The annual show remains a popular fixture in the village calendar, celebrating gardening, creativity and community spirit.
