A teenager from Ventnor has denied possessing indecent child images.
19-year-old Raphael Stafford, of Church Street in Ventnor appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court charged with 3 counts of making indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of a child, charges he denies.
The alleged offending occurred on the 17th June 2025.
The teenager is accused of possessing 12 category A images, 4 category B images and 16 category C images.
Magistrates opted to the send the case to the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
Stafford will next appear before a judge on the 23rd November for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
