Yarmouth is set to light up the skies this November as the town’s annual fireworks night returns, complete with a torchlight procession and Guy competition.
Organised by Yarmouth Carnival Committee, the popular event will take place on Thursday 5th November, with residents and visitors invited to enjoy an evening of Bonfire Night celebrations.
The festivities will get underway from 18:00, with a torchlight procession departing at 18:30 ahead of the fireworks display at approximately 19:00.
A Guy competition will also form part of the evening’s entertainment, while local businesses and food stalls will be open for those attending.
The event is completely free to attend, although donations will be welcomed on the night to help support its continued running.
Yarmouth Carnival Committee is made up of local residents, supported by an army of volunteers, and relies entirely on donations and local support to put on the annual display. This year’s event is also being supported by Wightlink.
Businesses wishing to display a Guy outside their premises can do so from Sunday 1st November.
