Shanklin Town Youth & Community Brass Band is tuning up for an extra special concert this Friday (30th October), with all money raised set to benefit local charity Embracing Age.
Following 2 successful summer concerts, the band has decided it isn’t quite ready to put its instruments away, announcing an additional performance to showcase the talents of its musicians.
The concert will take place at the United Reformed Church in Shanklin, starting at 19:30.
Unlike its previous performances, this concert will have a special charitable focus, with every penny raised on the night being donated to Embracing Age.
The band says that supporting others is an important part of being a community organisation and that it is always keen to give something back to local charities whenever possible.
The extra concert will bring together members of Shanklin Town Youth & Community Brass Band for another evening of music, friendship and community spirit.
Islanders are being encouraged to come along, support the musicians and help raise as much money as possible for a good local cause.
