Red Funnel is among the first major organisations to sign up as a sponsor of the 2026 Maritime Solent Awards, which celebrate the people and businesses driving innovation and excellence across the region’s maritime sector.
Now in their 5th year, the awards recognise the achievements of individuals and organisations from across the Solent’s maritime industry, highlighting the expertise and innovation that continue to establish the region as a world-leading maritime hub.
Red Funnel will sponsor the Maritime Start-up of the Year category, joining a growing list of organisations supporting this year’s event.
Other sponsors confirmed so far include Associated British Ports (ABP), Chartwell Marine, Griffon Marine, Portsmouth International Port, the Royal Navy and Solent Stevedores.
Applications are now open across 13 award categories and will remain so until 12th August. Finalists are due to be announced on 7th September, with the winners revealed at a black-tie awards ceremony at the Hilton Southampton – Utilita Bowl on 22nd October.
