Customers of local business Salty’s Bar and Restaurant (Yarmouth), have raised £8,138 this year for Yarmouth RNLI.
The cheque was presented at the RNLI’s Christmas Fair Fundraiser by Janine Kennedy, manager of Salty’s, alongside business owners Mr and Mrs Panek, at the Royal Solent Yacht Club on Thursday 8th December.
An additional 25% was donated by the business owners to bring the total donation up to well over £10,000. Customers donated £1 per person throughout the year when they dined at the 2-AA rosette restaurant.
The RNLI will utilise the donation for vital life-saving equipment and train their new volunteer crew members.
Salty’s director Edward Panek has said:
“Our goal is to double that next year for the RNLI. We are aiming to reach £20,000 in 2023 to continue to give back to our local community.”

Why not just pay extra taxes if you can afford it.
Why would they donate to the immigration taxi service
As that place had past connections to drug laundering cash then maybe a guilt thing and a shrewd move to attempt to clean their reputation, or keeping those in higher places ‘sweet’
Lets try a little bit of roleplay, “Pops”. You are the Cox’ of an RNLI lifeboat. You have been tasked to a boat in trouble in the Channel. As you approach you see it is an inflatable boat with about 20 people on board. It is under power and heading north.
What are you going to do?
Looks like Pops doesn’t want to play. Maybe we should make it multiple choice as that might be more his intelligence level.
Pops, assuming they are migrants, do you:
Those are the only options.
Bear in mind that if you choose 2 one of three things will happen:
If you choose 3 you will be on a murder charge.
Choose.
