Owing to the generous funding from the Family Hub Start For Life programme, Dadzclub is set to make its mark on the Isle Of Wight, offering a platform for fathers to connect, learn, and share in the experiences of parenthood.
Dadzclub is committed to exploring the multifaceted journey of fatherhood, encompassing both its exhilarating highs and its challenging lows. With a strong emphasis on community-building, this unique support service is dedicated to fostering a network of like-minded fathers, both online and through engaging face-to-face interactions.
Set to unfold at both Ryde and Cowes Family Hubs, Dadzclub has a clear vision of bringing together paternal figures and their children. Through dynamic and imaginative weekend sessions, Dadzclub aims to create an environment where fathers can not only chat with fellow dads but also forge deeper connections with their children.
Recognising the importance of a support system for fathers navigating the complexities of parenthood, Dadzclub will regularly host peer-led support sessions. These gatherings will provide a safe platform for dads to openly discuss the challenges of life and parenthood, finding comfort in the shared experiences of others.
Matthew Foster, Founder and CEO of Dadzclub, shares:
“We’re thrilled to introduce a safe and welcoming space where fathers can share their experiences and create lasting memories with their children. Our engaging weekend groups are the heart and soul of Dadzclub and are designed to offer not only fun activities but also an opportunity for dads to learn, share and connect with others.
“We know that strong fathers are not just present, they are mentally present and that is why our Dadzchat sessions bring dads together to break the stigma surrounding perinatal mental health in fathers and support their emotional well-being during this transformative journey. Because when fathers thrive, families flourish.”

Thought it was going to be a support for fathers that can’t get to be the proper, loving & doting father’s that they long to be, all because of the vicious, spiteful, covert evil & vile mother’s that deliberately make it nigh on impossible to be anywhere in their children’s lives …but sadly no. No help for those father’s at all, whatsoever, as usual.
Great idea, most mothers tend to forge new friendships and have early bonding experiences with their children going to baby groups, there is nothing out there for fathers and, typically, men find it the hardest to open up about the challenges of being a parent.
Who in their right minds will be attending Dadzclub? Any takers?
Over 900 members here in Portsmouth mate, and I hear its looking good on IOW.
No money for (female) domestic abuse victims, but plenty for this BS… I have no words… I thought they all went the pub…
Dadzclub raises thousands of pounds for domestic abuse charities every year.
Don’t worry Sam men don’t need to justify sad comments like that that of that thing zed I think jealousy that men make great dad’s and still able to spend an hr or so in the pub
I am a member of Dadzclub in Portsmouth and it’s a fantastic resource for fathers!
The Isle of wight group has already started and already lots of dads attending.
