Over 100 guests recently joined Top Mops at the Lakeside Park Hotel & Spa to celebrate 25 years in business for the Sandown-based company.
Starting with a drinks reception, guests then enjoyed a specially prepared 4-course meal and a cabaret show from Huxley Magic.
A presentation then followed from Sarah Ford, Top Mops Relationship Manager, who looked back from the company’s creation by Mark Tutty in 1998 and the key milestones over the past 25 years.
From that beginning, Top Mops is now widely recognised as 1 of the leading and multi-award winning contract cleaning companies in the South – employing over 300 staff across the region and managed from its head office based in Sandown.
The presentation by Sarah reflected on many key milestones including awards success, the company’s long association with the Isle of Wight Festival and its critical support for the NHS during the COVID Pandemic.
Awards were then presented to members of the Top Mops team, with Adrian Abraham receiving the Team Award and Aidan Atkins the Newcomer Award.
Loren Tutty, Mark Hadley, Craig Ford, Brian Tutty, Perry Brown and Davey Boon all received Long Service Awards while The Old Smithy in Godshill received the award as the longest-standing Top Mops customer, celebrating a relationship that goes back to when the company started.
A raffle and auction held on behalf of Cancer Research saw intense bidding raise £1,546 on the night with prizes and lots generously donated by many leading Island businesses, including WightFibre, Island Tea & Coffee Co, JR Zone and BeCalmed of Cowes.
Guests were then entertained by an exclusive DJ set from Jamie White as they enjoyed the rest of the evening, created their own memories using the photobooth and continued to celebrate 25 years of Top Mops.
Mark Tutty, Top Mops Founder and Managing Director, summed up the event:
“What a great evening and amazing opportunity to celebrate all that the company and our team have achieved over the past 25 years. The customers we are proud to work with and pride we take as an Island business. Here’s to the next 25 years.”

Much better than the other one
Which other one is that?
It has many Vans, it’s practises are disgusting
I wouldn’t let them clean my shoes let alone my business.
Jealously gets you no where.
Maybe Top Mops might discover water and detergent one day. Such a bad company.
Celebration of 25years of using the Polish as slave labour you mean !
