Another one for the crusher :). Make them legal- licence+ insurance
I think some clarity is needed under the umbrella “e-bike” description, was it a fully legal assistance e-bike or was it the suron type throttle operated e-bike, big difference in the legality!
Well if its the lad that has been riding around on a blue e bike he has been riding it around E Cowes like a mad person he was up my arse yesterday over took me and wiving in and out of the traffic.
Guess this involves the fella who rides around East Cowes at night on a de-restricted Surron type e-bike, dressed in a dark tracksuit with a balaclava and no lights. I’ve had a few close calls while driving, so it was only a matter of time before they got it wrong!
Some low life is always doing wheelies along Ryde Esplanade after dark with no lights, deliberately in the middle of the road so no one can pass him. Been reported several times, sod all done any time
