Two appliances from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance at Thorness Bay Holiday Park near Gurnard this evening (Friday) following a small fire.
Fire crews from Newport and Cowes were called to the park on Rolls Hill at 20:09 following reports of a fire inside a building, believed to be a lodge.
The small blaze near to the shop has been extinguished by staff members, however firefighters remain on site ensuring the fire is fully out and the scene is safe.
No one has been injured in the incident, however nearby residents have been evacuated to a point of safety.
