I have been sent home from
Work as a key worker with symptoms and have the test at medina.
Hope get well soon and it does not get too bad. Also that you’re able to isolate from others. Something government forget, most are unable to isolate fully. Hope you get sick pay too.
Best wishes Jim. Really hope you are ok.
Let’s hope your test is negative, it must be a worrying time for you.
Tested where?
He said Medina
So sorry to hear this Jim, hope the test is negative. Wish you well, stay safe xx
I can see another surge i noticed a lot more elderly on the street last couple of days. Unfortunately
a large percentage of these people will not keep to the rules and think it is not going to affect them. At a till yesterday was an old women saying,” this is stupid i have been in side for two months, i am o.k so you don’t need to worry about me.” In the end the shop assistant refused to serve her as she would not do what was asked of her.
Don’t class the elderly as the main ones who will not keep to the rules. The majority of them probably will. It is the younger ones who think the rules don’t apply to them, as seen by the so called protests in the name of Black Lives Matter.
And the rave on Saturday evening where about 4,000 people gathered.
What!?? How did I not hear about this gutted
Was on the news, one guy died after drug abuse.
I’m afraid the elderly that I have seen are by far the worst for blatant rule breaking in my community and in Asda. I’m shocked and frightened by their behaviour.
Entirely agree Derek. Have seen many groups of young people taking up whole pavement widths and had to go to Ryde last week just after Ryde High finished for the day and few groups of half a dozen or so teenage girls together in the precinct keeping no social distancing whatsoever.
A rise is still a rise, small or not. It means the virus is still out there, alive and well! We are still at risk and it is not over yet.
Oh but some elderly in Sandown called me ignorant for wearing a face mask, as the virus has gone they said.
Its almost as if some of our elder gen want to catch the virus. They are the ones at risk. Such a tiny percentage of the victims have been young.
Look around you Rob and it’s the younger generation that seem to have a death wish. The high majority of our elder generation have behaved themselves and toed the line. The older generation are not on the streets holding illegal raves and beating the crap out of the police force. To Jim I sincerely hope his test comes back negative. To everybody else stay safe it’s not over yet.
it will never be over – get out, get on with your life.
Sorry to hear Jim, hope the test is negative.
Not heard anything more about the 15 minute test that was being raved about last month, wonders if it will ever happen now.
Fake news, fake virus, end of story
