The inaugural Mindset Bros Golf Cup, held at Osborne Golf Club on Thursday, was a tremendous success, bringing together businesses from across the Isle of Wight for a day of golf, networking and fundraising in support of men’s mental health.
The event raised an incredible £6,130, with every penny helping Mindset Bros continue its life-changing work supporting men and their families across the Island.
Teams representing a wide range of local businesses took part in the four-ball competition before enjoying food, a raffle and auction, all of which contributed to the fantastic fundraising total.
More than just a golf day, the event showcased the strength of the Island’s business community and its commitment to supporting an important local cause.
Mindset Bros continues to provide free support through weekly Walk & Talks, one-to-one support sessions, monthly community meet-ups and a growing range of initiatives designed to improve men’s mental health and reduce isolation.
Funds raised through events such as the Golf Cup allow the organisation to continue expanding these services and reach even more people in need.
Mark Reed, Director of Mindset Bros, said:
“It was genuinely inspiring to see so many local businesses come together in support of Mindset Bros. The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see businesses connecting, enjoying themselves and, most importantly, standing behind a cause that is making a real difference in our community.
“To raise £6,130 is an incredible achievement. On behalf of everyone at Mindset Bros, I’d like to thank every team, sponsor, volunteer and individual who contributed to making the day such a success. Your support will directly help us continue providing free mental health support to men across the Isle of Wight.”
Mindset Bros would like to extend its sincere thanks to Osborne Golf Club for hosting the event, every business that entered a team, all of the event sponsors, everyone who donated raffle and auction prizes, and the volunteers whose hard work made the day possible.
Following the overwhelming success of the inaugural event, Mindset Bros hopes to make the Golf Cup an annual fixture, continuing to unite the Island’s business community while raising vital funds to support men’s mental health.
