
The case against Piers Brazier, who is accused of the murder of Scott Cooper in Ryde earlier this year, is to go to trial at the Isle of Wight Crown Court this week.
Brazier is accused of murdering 33-year-old Cooper inside his flat on George Street in Ryde back on 4th January 2022.
The trial – only the 2nd trial to be heard at the Isle of Wight Crown Court since it was built over 30 years ago – is to begin tomorrow (Wednesday) and is expected to last around 3 weeks.
The case is to be heard by His Honour Judge Timothy Mousley K.C.
