A 38-year-old man is in Police custody after allegedly sexually touching a teenage boy whilst travelling on a bus to Ventnor last night (Tuesday).
The Route 3 bus stopped at the side of Newport Road, Upper Ventnor at just before 21:00 following a disturbance and an allegation of sexual assault.
Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary responded to the scene to conduct initial investigations into claims that a 17-year-old boy had been touched on the leg by a fellow bus passenger.
Police have confirmed that a 38-year-old man from Sandown has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and making threats to kill.
He remains in custody at this time.
UPDATE THURSDAY – 38-year-old Kieran Percy has been charged with a public order offence in relation to Tuesday’s incident.

Yet they keep going on about people travelling by Bus
it’s good for the climate. Lol
Car for me, too many numpties are travelling on buses

Maybe they should run 2 types of buses.
1 for numpties and 1 for non-numpties.
