Around 40,000 bees swarmed the Wightlink entrance at Ryde Pier Head yesterday (Sunday) in search of a new home.
Luckily, a local beekeeper was quickly on the scene to help out and the bees have now successfully been rehomed in Brading.

And you thought paying wightlink had a sting in it’s tail
Surprised they didn’t charge them 50p each for daring to land on the pier.
The poor Bees cannot afford the ridiculous Ferry Fares to get off the
Island.
