Er, it reopened at Easter, didn’t it? Also no mention of ‘Rydabus’ next weekend, one of only two ‘running day’ events the museum holds annually. Also, I believe it is called the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum, unless there is another bus museum in Ryde that I hadn’t heard about! But seriously folks, good to see the museum has recovered from the floods it suffered last year.
Why so negative? At least they have given the museum some well needed and deserved media exposure, even taking time to visit and interview the President. of this free to enter volunteer led interesting and inclusive venue.
I was not being negative, but merely correcting some errors. Did you not read my last sentence? For your info, ‘Rydabus’ is a crucial revenue earning event for the museum, but the author completely failed to mention it. I believe that the article should have paid special attention to this event, as it is almost upon us. Don’t you? It starts next Saturday, in case you are interested.
A sign of the times. Whilst Ventnor gets to feel one side of nature, Ryde gets Monkton Mead unable to hold the amount of water it now receives. Glad too the collection was unharmed although sorry some losses were made. A fine looking fleet all round and a nice, dedicate crew to talk to. 🙂
