Residents turned out in force as Picnic in the Park returned to Northwood House for its 13th year.
The popular community event, officially opened by the Mayor, once again proved to be a well-attended fixture in the Cowes calendar.
Favourable weather helped create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day, with families, friends and visitors coming together to enjoy the occasion.
A strong presence from local charities and community organisations was among the highlights, giving attendees the chance to find out more about the support services and resources available in Cowes and across the wider Isle of Wight.
Their participation showcased the strength and diversity of the area’s community support network.
The ever-popular dog show once again drew a lively crowd, with enthusiastic participants and spectators enjoying the friendly competition.
Organisers have extended their thanks to everyone who attended, contributed to and supported the event, helping to ensure its continued success.
As Picnic in the Park celebrates its 13th year, plans are already underway for its return next year.
