VIDEO: Police on the Isle of Wight are investigating an assault in Newport during the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday) which was captured on camera and uploaded to YouTube.
Investigations are underway to establish the circumstances behind a fight in South Street between 02:15 and 02:45, in which a taxi driver was assaulted. It took place just yards from where Islander Jeff Stacey was killed in February.
Those seen in the 3-minute video – which can be seen below – are thought to be local and have been named on social media.
