More than 50 members of the Isle of Wight’s Melodic Choir will take to the stage next Saturday evening for a special charity concert in aid of East Cowes’ Community Spirited Cafe.
The concert taking place on 13th June is titled ‘All Sorts’ and will be held at the Jenny Kerry Theatre at Ryde School on Queens Road, Ryde.
Audience members can expect a diverse programme of music from the popular choir, with a varied set list spanning disco, rock, swing and pop.
The event is being organised by Island vocal coach Kay Howard, who is encouraging residents to come along and support the cause.
Kay Howard, Vocal Coach and Organiser said:
“Please come along and share in a musical experience with us as we sing legendary contemporary songs from varied genres and eras.
“As well as having a lot of fun, you’ll be helping to raise money for an amazing charity in East Cowes.”
Doors open at 19:00, with the concert beginning at 19:30.
Tickets are priced at £12, with discounted group bookings available.
All proceeds from the evening will go to Community Spirited Cafe, which provides support within the local community.
