With just 2 days to go and more slots to slide than ever before, there are still some places left for this Sunday’s epic Bestival Ryde Slide.
Everyone who entered the lottery draw has already had their slot confirmed, meaning Islanders can now guarantee a slide by donating just £5 – or pay £10 per slide or £30 for a family of 4 on the day. Thrill seekers are warned that places are limited.
The forecast for Sunday is sunshine and fun and to add even more excitement, the fastest slider will win a pair of Bestival tickets. A fancy dress competition is also being held with even more Bestival tickets up for grabs and Bestival Ryde Slide t-shirts.
All donations go to local charities: Aspire, Ryde Inshore Rescue, Wight Brainy Bunch, Ryde Arena and The Waterside Trust.
The event will run from 11:00-18:00 this Sunday (17th July 2016) from the top of Union Street, Ryde. The music will be pumping with DJs including Rob da Bank to keeping the party atmosphere going all day long.
