Good Job there are security cameras and lighting on that car park. It would make catching the criminal easy.
“Badly Damaged” is the understatement of the year, a total WRITE OFF by the looks of things. Probably an act of reckless vandalism with no consideration or consequence of their potentially life threatening behaviour. I hope the poor owners aren’t 24hr on call emergency workers and needed to get to a fire or lifeboat station in a hurry.
A drug dealer making delivery…
The owner is a carer and this is their only form of transport, they are also an emergency services volunteer. Absolutely mindless and I hope the courts do something substantial when they eventually catch up with who done his.
First a Kia creed is stolen and found in a field on the downs wrecked and now one’s been set on fire has someone got it in for Kia creeds ?
Think it’s a Kia Venga .
Perhaps once person caught judges need to think how they would feel before sentencing if was their vehicle, their home, their family affected by this senseless vandalism. Please do not allow the mental problems approach to reduce sentence, we all have problems but do not resort to this level.
“private CCTV”
If you have a camera that is filming a public space or a neighbors drive, you are in breach of GDPR. If someone chooses to complain, you could find yourself in court. Like the person who set this on fire. Yes, only in the OK can you be taken to court for helping the police to solve a crime.
Don’t believe me? Google it!
You are only in breach of GDPR if you are a company and do not have it posted that you are recording.
No you’re not
Yes I believe it, comes under invasion of privacy, one of my neighbours fitted a camera on to his car outside his house on street parking and had complaints from people walking by. If you are lucky enough to have a drive and stick to your properties perimeters you are in the law. Personally the more private cameras there are the less crime, why should you worry if you are on camera – unless you are up to no good.
Can anyone set a go fund me page up?
