A Newport man accused of supplying class-A drugs has seen his case sent to the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
Jamie Simpson, 36, of Gunville Road in Newport, appeared before Isle of Wight Magistrates charged with concerned in the supply of cocaine.
The alleged offending, which is said to have taken place in Ryde, occurred between 7th September and 3rd December 2023. Court heard how the seizure was “not excessive”.
Such was the nature of the charge, the case was sent straight to the Isle of Wight Crown Court. No pleas have been entered at this stage.
Simpson will next appear at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 28th September.
