A luxury boutique hotel that set out to offer a different kind of Isle of Wight stay is celebrating a successful first full summer season.
With more than 200 booked suite nights, bookings already secured into 2027 and national recognition for its transformation, Palm Court Hotel in Shanklin is celebrating success.
Officially opening in November 2025, Palm Court Hotel was created with a clear vision: to raise the standard of luxury accommodation on the Isle of Wight while encouraging more visitors to choose the Island for longer, high-quality UK breaks.
During its first trading period, Palm Court has generated more than 200 booked suite nights, with guests staying for an average of more than 4 nights. Bookings are already secured well into 2027, demonstrating growing confidence in both the hotel and the Isle of Wight as a year-round destination.
The hotel has also achieved a 5-star Google rating, with guests consistently praising its luxury accommodation, facilities and attention to detail.
The transformation has also received national recognition, with Palm Court achieving third place in the Travel Chapter Showcase Awards for Best Renovation or Transformation, recognising the quality of the redevelopment and the vision behind the project.
Ben Williams, Director of Palm Court Hotel and Ben Williams Consultancy, said:
“Our vision was to create a luxury destination that gives people another reason to choose the Isle of Wight. We believed there was room for a different kind of accommodation, one that combines exceptional facilities, beautiful design and the flexibility for families and groups to spend quality time together.”
“Completing our first full summer and already seeing bookings secured into 2027 gives us enormous confidence, not just in Palm Court, but in the future of tourism on the Isle of Wight.”
Ben believes quality accommodation has an important role to play in strengthening the Island’s visitor economy…
“The Isle of Wight already has incredible scenery, beaches, attractions and independent businesses. Our aim was to complement that by creating accommodation that matches the quality of the destination itself. Every guest who stays with us supports local cafés, restaurants, attractions and shops, helping local businesses thrive.”
