Vintage tractors will take to the roads of the Isle of Wight later this month for a day-long charity run raising awareness and supporting the Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group.
The Vectis Vintage Tractor & Engine Club is organising the event for 20th September, with vintage tractor owners and supporters invited to take part.
The run will begin at Arreton Barns, with participants expected to leave at approximately 10:30.
Tractors will then travel through Pagham and Merstone, stopping at Reynolds & Read in Ryde at around 12:00, with the convoy scheduled to get back underway at 13:00.
The charity run is expected to finish at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet at approximately 15:00.
For the return journey, tractors will travel through Stroud, Upton, Langbridge and Combley.
The event is being held in support of the Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group, with organisers highlighting the message of ‘raising awareness, supporting care, growing hope’.
In addition, a Pink Ladies Tractor Run event is set to take place the week after, on 27th September, to support Applegate Breast Cancer Unit and Appleblossoms Group.

All vintage tractors and supporters are welcome to join both events, although entry forms must be completed in order to take part.
