Islanders will have the chance to learn more about how the changing climate could affect the future when Naturezones hosts a free film screening this coming weekend.
The organisation is showing the People’s Emergency Briefing on Saturday 5th September at 14:00.
The film looks at what is currently happening with the climate and what people can do about it.
Naturezones is joining thousands of other venues and communities across the country in screening the film, with more than 3,360 screenings said to be taking place nationwide.
Naturezones spokesperson Angela Hewitt has said:
“We are proud to join the growing list of communities screening the film.
“There are now over 3,360 screenings being held countrywide, with more venues getting involved. We felt, as an organisation that promotes caring for the natural environment, we were duty bound to get involved.”
The screening is free to attend, but those wishing to take part are asked to book in advance through Eventbrite.
