Some of the Isle of Wight’s top DJs are set to come together for a 12-hour music marathon in Sandown this weekend, raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The event, organised by popular local DJ Jon Shove – and Friends – in association with The Tap Sandown, will take place on Saturday 13th June from 12:00 until midnight.
Entry is free, although visitors will have the chance to support the charity through a raffle and barbecue, with all proceeds going to Teenage Cancer Trust.
A host of well-known Island DJs have volunteered their time for the fundraiser, with music changing every 45 minutes throughout the day. Organisers say every set will be played exclusively on vinyl records.
The line-up features a wide range of genres, including mod, Motown, northern soul, reggae, ska, punk, funk, 80s soul and Ibiza classics.
The event takes place at The Tap in Sandown and is open to everyone.
