23-year-old Tyler Booth is back behind bars after receiving an 18-week prison sentence for driving whilst disqualified and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
Booth, from Shanklin, pleaded guilty to a number of charges when he appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday).
He admitted driving whilst disqualified, using a vehicle without third party insurance, 2 counts of failing to stop at the scene of a collision and possession of a Class B drug (cannabis).
Magistrates didn’t look favourably on Booth’s appearance before the bench once again and not only imposed a further driving disqualification, but handed down an 18-week prison sentence too.
Booth was out of prison on licence when he committed the offences meaning his licence has been recalled and he has been sent back to prison. This, combined with the new sentence, means he will serve until November 2021.

Still plenty of his scummy mates out there to take his place.
That will learn him…………Won’t it?
Probably not, we can only hope that when he does re-enter society he has learnt a lesson and abide by the rules that most of us do.
That’s right. It has never worked ever in history but that doesn’t mean it won’t magically work this time.
So what is your solution then?
In a few months time his name will come up again and everything just just rolls on again.
We need a better solution. Some people can’t function outside of prison. Been so poorly brought up they can’t function in society. Need a more humane prison that gives a much longer sentence and requires them to work and learn new skills. Banging up for a few months then throwing out again does not work.
Chop his hands off. He cant drive again then
