Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance is attending a medical emergency in Lake this afternoon (Monday).
The life-saving helicopter was piloted across 2 counties to the Island, touching down at Sandown Airport at around 16:15.
Island Echo understands that the HEMS team are assisting paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service with an incident at Embassy Way.
The helicopter has landed beside the runway and has powered down.
Lets hope all are not too badly hurt.
