Members of the Wight Wolves motorcycle group visited the Newport offices of Friends of the Animals this week after raising more than £745 through a successful Isle of Wight fundraiser.
The group called into the charity’s Pyle Street base on Monday to be thanked for their efforts following a recent poker run event organised by member Mike, who was unable to attend due to ill health.
The fundraiser saw participants travel to different locations across the Isle of Wight collecting playing cards before returning to base to reveal who had the best poker hand. A raffle held alongside the event also proved popular.
In total, the event raised an impressive £745.85 for Friends of the Animals.
The Wight Wolves and their families were thanked personally by Friends of the Animals founder Helen Sinclair, who said their support was hugely appreciated.
During the visit, the bikers enjoyed a specially made cake before departing on their motorcycles.
Everyone involved has wished organiser Mike a speedy recovery and thanked the Wight Wolves for their generosity and support.
